Establishments that meet certain size and industry criteria are required to electronically submit specific injury and illness data to OSHA once per year, between January 2 and March 2. This data can be submitted through the Injury Tracking Application (ITA). Many employers with more than 10 employees are required to keep records of work-related injuries and illnesses using OSHA Recordkeeping Forms (300, 300A, and 301), although certain industries are exempt. See the exemption table here: https://www.osha.gov/recordkeeping/presentations/exempttable
OSHA’s Injury Tracking Application user guide can help employers navigate the submission process: https://www.osha.gov/sites/default/files/ita_user_guide.pdf
